The OLV conversion equipment has been developed to provide
emergency lighting equipment to suit standard 12 Volt supply
for maintained, non-maintained emergency lighting.

The equipment is also available with either an integral transformer
or auxiliary input terminals for connection to an external transformer.

OLV power supply units offer two operational categories:

N Type - OLV/N12/50/3 Provides non-maintained operation as
standard, but also incorporating auxiliary input terminals and
changer-over relay for maintained operation via connection to a
remote transformer.

C Type - OLV/C12/50/3 Provides maintained operation via an
integral transformer. The normal switched mains supply and
un-switched supply are connected to the OLV C Type providing
normal lighting and emergency lighting without the need for an
additional low voltage transformer. Dimming of the lamps in normal
mains operation can be achieved by use of an external hard wired
dimmer without affecting the emergency lighting operation.
